How Composting Works
Compostable plastics are not simply “biodegradable”; they are engineered to break down under specific conditions (temperature, moisture, microbial activity) within a defined timeframe, leaving no toxic residue. Under CPCB, a material must disintegrate within 12 weeks and fully biodegrade within 6 months in an industrial composting environment.
Anjaneya Bio Products formulates its granules to meet these thresholds while maintaining the mechanical properties (tensile strength, elongation, seal integrity) that industrial users require during the product's functional life.
Our Material Technology
Our resin blends are based on bio-derived and bio-compatible polymers selected for processability on conventional blown-film, cast-film, and injection-moulding equipment. We control formulation, compounding, and quality testing in-house at our Nashik manufacturing facility, enabling rapid iteration and custom grade development for specific end-use requirements.
What Composting Is Not
We are transparent about what our products require: industrial composting conditions with controlled temperature and humidity. We do not claim that our products will break down if littered in open environments or landfilled under anaerobic conditions. Responsible disposal in composting facilities or managed soil environments is essential for the material to perform as designed.
